3rd Model rifle manufactured circa 1885. Reapplied blued finish throughout. 24" round barrel chambered in .44-40 with 2-line Winchester address and full length magazine tube. Blade front sight and buckhorn rear. Plain walnut forend and stock with trap rifle butt plate. CONDITION: Good. Metal components lightly pitted with majority of reapplied blued finish. Some losses to finish on receiver. Markings soft. Stocks appear to be lightly sanded with dark oil stained appearance. Dark bore with visible rifling. Action cycles appropriately. Dust cover screw a replacement. BAS
