Colt Audie Murphy Commemorative 1911 semi automatic pistol with display case. Made 1998 and built on the M1991A1 series frame. Gold inlay scroll laser engraving on both sides of the slide, with a picture of the famous GI on the left. "0006 OF 1000" on the bottom of the frame, in addition to America Remembers logo (company who did the work). Blade front sight with u-notch rear. Factory polished blued finish, with magazine release, slide release, safety, bushing and grip screws being gold plated. White faux pearl grips. Includes serial matching blue hard case, manual, lock, and fitted red velvet lined wood display case. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Looks to be un-fired from the factory. Mechanically fine. Case and box are excellent.
