Lefever Arms Company "NITRO SPECIAL" 410 side by side shotgun made by the Ithaca Gun Company in Ithaca, New York in 1925. 26" blued "2 -1/2" "chamber Nitro Special steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight , extractors and fixed "Full" and " Modified" chokes marked "4" and "2" respectively. Case hardened boxlock frame, double triggers and automatic safety with "Bird in Flight" scene on each side of receiver. Walnut checkered round knob pistol grip stock with replaced black buttplate and matching walnut splinter forearm with latch release. CONDITION: 85% original barrel blue with light usage wear and use marks. 80% fading original case colors with areas turning a brown patina. Stock has aged added coat of linseed oil with stock cut and non-factory plate added. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
