Colt North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation Commemorative Single Action Army revolver with case and box. Made 1982 in the Custom Shop. Single line company address on the barrel. Patent dates and rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. "SPECIAL EDITION" etched on the left side, with "NORTH CAROLINA STATE/BUREAU of INVESTIGATION" on the right. Both are set between laser scroll engraving and various state sales. "1 OF 200" marked on the right side of the frame and "AGENT NO. 298" on the butt. Round steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Nickel finished metal components. Oil finished wood grips with Custom Shop medallions. Includes wood grain cardboard box and a red velvet lined wood display case. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with little signs of handling. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. No drag lines on the cylinder. Case and box are excellent.
