BSA dispersal rifle No.1 MK III bolt action rifle. Made "44" as marked on the stock socket. Other markings on the socket are illegible, minus a "(crown) / G.R". Import marked "ENGLAND" on the chamber. Matching serials on the receiver, bolt, barrel, rear sight, nose cap, and fore stock. Magazine is not numbered. Blade front sight with rear tangent adjustable to 2,000 meters. Black enamel finish on the metal components. Stock components have an oil finish. Brass butt plate with trap door. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its reapplied black enamel finish with general wear. Stock has light wear and handling marks. Shiny bore with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine.
