Colt John Wayne Commemorative New Frontier single action revolver with case and box. Made 1983. Single line company address on the top of the barrel. "JOHN WAYNE/The Duke" laser etched on the left side of the barrel and "NEW FRONTIER .22" on the right. Patent dates and Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame. "VP" on the left side of the trigger guard. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Case colored frame. Nickel hammer, trigger, cylinder pin and ejector rod, with the balance of parts being blued. Factory checkered plastic grips. Includes wood grain cardboard box, manual and factory red velvet lined wood display case. CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with little signs of handling. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. No drag lines on the cylinder. Case and box are excellent. JWA
