Francotte boxlock side by side shotgun made by August Francotte in Liege, Belgium circa 1930. 26" blued 16 gauge fluid steel barrels with matted rib, twin bead sights, ejectors, and fixed "FULL" and "MOD" chokes. Case hardened action with light scroll engraving pattern, sideclips, Greener style crossbolt, double triggers, and automatic safety. Plain checkered English style straight stock and added Pachmayer vented recoil pad with matching checkered splinter forearm with push button release. European style sling swivel mounts. CONDITION: 60% fading blue with carry and edge wear. Action worn to a silvery patina. Wood has been cleaned with added coat of oil and some shrinkage around action with butt cut for pad. Good shootable bores with good mechanics. DLM
