Model 1894 lever action saddle ring carbine manufactured by Winchester in 1950. Left side of barrel bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer information as well as the model and caliber designations. Features include a blue finish, 20" round barrel, saddle ring, as well as a smooth wood buttstock fitted with a blued checkered buttplate, and smooth wood forearm. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning overall that show through to a gray patina. Bright bore, exhibiting well defined lands and grooves throughout. Wood furniture shows a few scattered marks from handling and storage, but is otherwise fine. MLW
