Winchester Model 1892 lever action carbine. Made 1920s. 2 line company address/patent dates on the the left side of the barrel. "32 W.C.F." marked on the chamber, with Winchester proofs as well. Trade marks and model on the top tang. Round steel barrel with pedestal blade front sight and Marble's buckhorn v-notch rear. Full length magazine tube. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Saddle ring and stud have been removed, with the holes being filled in. Wood stock and forearm retain their original light oil finish. Smooth steel butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 60% of its original finish with general wear and some brown patina in areas. Missing an action screw and a tang screw. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is solid with no visible cracks. Very clean bore with sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
