L.C. Smith "Specialty" Grade side by side shotgun made by the Hunter Arms Company in 1913. Gun has been fitted with extra set of "Field" Grade barrels and numbered to gun and also has a number 2 stamped on the forearm. First set of barrels are 30" Nitro steel blued barrels marked on top with "Specialty Grade" and Hunter Arms Address on left barrel. This set of barrels has a Simmons ventilated rib fitted on them with extractors and bead sights. Barrels come with original Specialty Grade forearm iron and custom checkered walnut beavertail forearm with push button latch. Second set of barrels are 26" blued Armor Steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight and extractors with walnut splinter forearm numbered to barrels which match serial number on action. Case colored "Regular" frame sidelock action with Specialty Grade bird and floral design on action, fitted with Hunter Single Selective Trigger and a non-automatic safety. Custom walnut checkered pistol grip Monte Carlo Stock with added pad and custom grip cap. Gun possibly completely done by Simmons Gun Specialties in Olaothe, Kansas. CONDITION: 95% remaining overall finish from a complete refurbishment. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
