1892 Vintage Winchester Model 1873 rifle, serial number 408299B. 24-inch octagon barrel with full length magazine tube. Chambered in scarce .22-short rimfire cartridge. Standard sights. Plain straight grain walnut stock and forearm. Rifle style crescent buttplate. CONDITION: Very good with mostly a dark brown patina overall. Strong traces of original blue on barrel. Wood is sound showing minimum wear. Bore is dark. Action is rough. MKS
