Lot consists of: (A) 1992 vintage 3rd generation Colt Single Action Army enhanced by US Historical Society as attractive and well executed Premier Edition Hopalong Cassidy commemorative. Silver plated with foliate scroll engraving throughout. 5-1/2" round barrel marked with 1-line colt address and script "Hopalong Cassidy" in rope border. Left side of recoil shield emblazoned with bust of Cassidy. 2-piece genuine ivory grips decorated with silver "WLB" initials for William Boyd in left and silver "20" on right. Housed in French fit leather covered display case with gold leaf decoration. Also included are the Colt factory box and blue plastic hard case. CONDITION: Excellent as enhanced. Retains nearly all of reapplied finishes. Grips excellent with very light patina forming. Good bore. Cases and box very good. (B) Uberti produced .45 Colt caliber Single Action Army clone enhanced by US Historical Society. Blued finish with silver foliate decoration. 5-1/2" round barrel with silver "Hopalong Cassidy" on each side. Blade front sight v-notch rear. Genuine ivory grips with silver "WLB" initials on left panel and "20" on right. Housed in French fitted wood display case with commemorative plaque. CONDITION: Excellent retaining virtually all of its finishes with a faint drag line. Silver has a dark patina. Grips excellent. Fine bore. Case very good with handling marks. Guns are also accompanied by an autographed hard bound copy of "Hopalong Cassidy: An American Legend" by Grace Boyd and Michael Cochran, in addition to June 1950 issue of Life Magazine featuring Hopalong Cassidy.
