Francotte Model 14 side by side shotgun made in Liege, Belgium and imported by Von Lengerke and Detmold of New York City in the 1920's. 30" fluid steel 12 gauge barrels with matted rib and bead front sight with extractors. Case hardened boxlock action with Greener style crossbolt and full coverage leaf and vignette engraving fitted with aftermarket non-selective single trigger. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with leather faced recoil pad. Aftermarket walnut checkered beavertail forearm hollowed out for weight reduction with push button release. Comes in leather covered homemade case CONDITION: Gun has had some non-factory customization with plugged holes in rib from a removed aftermarket ventilated rib. Action has a non-factory non-selective single trigger installed and a non-factory beavertail forearm. 80% factory blue remaining on barrels with 10% original case colors with turned screws. Wood has traces of original varnish with repaired pinned buttstock. Shootable bores with sticky mechanics. DLM
