Circa 1912. A 12 gauge with 29 - 7/8" barrels. 2-5/8" chambers and choked: Improved Modified/Modified. Full length matted rib with twin off white mid and front beads. Double triggers, ejectors, automatic safety. Full pistol gripped buttstock with 2 panel checkering, black grip cap and with 14" LOP over an orange ventilated "White Line" rubber recoil pad. Splinter forearm checkered similarly. Frame with zig-zag border engraving and marked "STERLINGWOTH". The gun is accompanied by a leather leg o' mutton case. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retain 65-70% original blue finish. Receiver retains 30-35% original case colors. Trigger guard retains 30-35% of its original blued finished. Buttstock and forend with handling and storage marks throughout. Checkering is flattened from use. Mechanics are good. Case is good. Use and storage marks, strap torn at end and stitching at cap pulled. (CP)
