Civil War era Colt 1851 Navy manufactured in 1863. Blued 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel with 1-line New York address, brass pin front sight, and hammer notch rear. 6-shot cylinder roll stamped with naval engagement scene. Brass grip straps and smooth walnut 1-piece grips. CONDITION: Very good. Overall dark gray patina with traces of factory blue visible on barrel assembly and some traces of dark case colors evident on loading lever. Grip straps exhibit a speckled mustard patina. Grips have some bruises and added finish. Shootable bore with well defined rifling. Good mechanics. Full or partial matching numbers observed on frame, barrel assembly, cylinder, cylinder arbor, trigger guard, and back strap. Loading lever a replacement and wedge unnumbered. BAS
