This guitar seems to be mostly original and in overall very good to excellent condition. This example is particularly rare in that it was only made for one year (1938) and features a bound peghead, a notched diamond peghead inlay, and a pearloid truss rod cover. There are a few small repaired cracks, though they are difficult to detect. There are the typical scratches and dings, as well as finish crazing present on the surface of the guitar. There is also a small but tight crack (about 1/2" to 1") traversing the base of the headstock on the back side. It appears to be quite shallow. There is some finish touch up at the heel of the neck, likely due to a neck reset. The guitar is currently unstrung and the bridge pins are missing.

Condition: (Very Good - Excellent).

Item Dimensions: Case: 43 - 1/4" x 17" x 6 - 1/4".
