Lot consists of: (A) 1862 vintage martially marked Colt 1860 Army percussion revolver. 8" .44 caliber barrel with 1-line New York address. Blade front sight and hammer notch rear. 6-shot rebated percussion cylinder. Recoil shield cut for shoulder stock with matching steel back strap. Inspector marks visible on cylinder and trigger guard. One-piece smooth walnut grips with faint traces of cartouches visible. CONDITION: Good. Finishes have turned to brown patina with some areas of cleaned oxidation. Traces of cylinder scene visible. Wedge unmarked. Golden mellow patina on trigger guard. Grips worn with some surface impressions and small chip at left toe. Good shootable bore. Indexes correctly. (B) 1862 vintage .36 caliber Colt Pocket Navy percussion revolver. 5-1/2" octagon barrel with 1-line New York address, brass pin front sight, and hammer notch rear. 5-shot rebated cylinder with stagecoach holdup scene. Brass grip straps and 1-piece smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Fair. Cleaned silver patina with light pitting throughout. Cylinder scene heavily worn. Grip straps exhibit even mellow patina. Grips have wear, impressions, and a small chip at left toe. Shootable bore and good mechanics. BAS
