Lot consists of (A) Colt New Army model 1901 revolver manufactured in 1903 and chambered in .38 Long Colt. Blued frame and round barrel with rounded front sight blade, "COLT. D.A. 38" on left side of barrel, and manufacturer patent and address stamped on top. Inspector mark "R.A.C." stamped on frame, cylinder face, and underside of barrel. "L.E.B. stamped right side of frame above right stock. Matching serial numbers throughout. Bottom of the grip frame is marked "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1901 No 66983". Smooth wooden stocks with serial penciled under both. Attached lanyard loop. CONDITION: Good overall condition with some of the original bluing remaining. Metal finish is turning a light brown and silver patina with freckling throughout. Small scratches and handling marks throughout. Stocks have small scratches and dings especially on left side. Good bore and good mechanics. (B) Colt model Army Special 38 revolver manufactured in 1923 and chambered in .38 Special. Blued frame and barrel with rounded front sight blade, "COLT ARMY SPECIAL 38" on left side of barrel, and manufacturer patent and address stamped on top. Colt rampant pony stamped on left side of frame. Checkered wooden stocks with Colt medallion on both sides. Knurled cylinder release and knurled extractor rod tip. CONDITION: Good overall condition with most original bluing remaining. Freckling and signs of light oxidation throughout. Small crack in bottom of left stock. Good bore and good mechanics. GFP
