1862 vintage Colt Model 1860 Army percussion single action revolver, serial number 57573. 8" round barrel in .44 caliber with single line Colt New York barrel address, German silver blade front sight, and hammer notch rear. Martially sub inspected on barrel, twice on cylinder near serial number, trigger guard, and top of backstrap. 1 piece walnut grips with small traces of cartouches on either side. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finish turned to an even brown patina with scattered handling and storage marks. Rammer has been repaired at latch and chemically aged in an attempt to match the natural patina of this revolver. Grips have been sanded and cleaned with heavy handling marks throughout, repaired crack on right grip panel near trigger guard, and chips near butt. Action is tight. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
