1863 vintage Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion single action revolver, serial number 134643. 7 - 1/2" octagon barrel in .36 caliber with Colt New York barrel address, cone front sight, and hammer notch rear. Matching serial numbers observed on rammer, barrel, wedge, cylinder arbor, frame, cylinder, trigger guard, and butt. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a gray patina with storage and handling marks throughout. Trigger guard and backstrap are a mellow patina. Grips have heavy handling marks throughout especially on left grip panel and chips at high edges. Action cycles properly by hand but could use attention as the cylinder will not stay locked in place with hammer pulled rearward. Trigger is a replacement. Bore is dark with heavy abrasion and visible rifling. TON
