DWM Model 1906 American Eagle Luger semi automatic pistol. Made in Germany circa 1910. American Eagle crest on the chamber. "DWM" in script on the toggle. Commercial proofs on the chamber, bolt and barrel. Export stamp on the front of the frame. Matching serials on the visible numbered components. Grips and grip safety are not numbered, but have DWM inspector marks on the inside. Blade front sight and v-notch rear. Original blued and straw finishes. Checkered wood grips have a light oil finish. Nickel plated tin magazine with a wood bottom (not dated). CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear and a soft brown patina starting to form. Grips are excelelnt with crisp checkering. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. Magazine has wear and handling marks. JWA
