Colt New Army Model 1894 revolver manufactured in 1898 and chambered in .38 Long Colt. Blued frame and round barrel with rounded front sight blade, "COLT. D.A. 38" on left side of barrel, and manufacturer patent and address stamped on top. Inspector mark "R.A.C." stamped on frame and cylinder face. Matching serial numbers throughout. Knurled ejector rod tip. Bottom of the grip frame is marked "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1894 No 103366". Smooth wooden stocks with serial number written on the inside by pencil. Left grip has a mostly warn year stamped above a "DMJ" cartouche with year appearing to be "1891". CONDITION: Good overall condition for age of firearm with some of the original bluing remaining. Metal finish is turning a light brown patina with signs of handling. Small signs of oxidation and freckling throughout along with scratches and dings. Stocks have small chips and dings especially towards on bottom. Semi bright bore and good mechanics. GFP
