Octagonal barrel with bead front sight, V notch rear sight integral to rear of top strap. British view and proof marks on barrel and over each cylinder chamber. Barrel with light engraved line decorations at muzzle end with floral scroll where barrel and frame meet. Normal sparse floral scroll engraving on frame with serial number on right side. Tranter double trigger and spurless hammer. Single piece checkered walnut grips with spur for web of hand. Cylinder has roped border at front with line engraving at rear, and numbered "21", visible on rear of cylinder. Rammer assembly is missing. CONDITION: Good. Metal is essentially a mixture of rich chocolate patina throughout, interspersed with flashes of dove grey and traces of the English high polish blue visible in protected areas. Legends are clear and legible. Mechanics are somewhat sticky, with some pitting visible on hammer from use. Bore is good with visible rifling and some pitting in the lands. EMW
