7 shot .22 RF knuckleduster with "MY FRIEND PATD DEC 26 1865". Factory engraving of geometrics on top strap and scroll engraving with a punch dot background on frame. Checkered shield on rear. CONDITION: Very good. Nickel plating on brass frame is still largely present, with some rubbing to brass primarily visible on high edges with a few other spots visible on frame. Some age related spotting on cylinder, one of which looks like a thumbprint. Cylinder pin is appropriately reverse threaded. "Bores" are very good with some minor oxidation. A good example, with more nickel plate than normally seen. EMW
