Colt Model New Army DA 38 double action revolver manufactured in 1897 and chambered in .38 Long Colt. 6" round barrel with service sights. Barrel, frame, and cylinder have been fully custom engraved in an American style and nickel refinished. 6 shot fluted cylinder and Mother of Pearl stocks. The inside of the right stock has epoxy filing. Serial number of cylinder thumb latch does not match serial number on frame. CONDITION: Fair overall condition with nickel finish starting to flake in several spots. Chips and crack in the pearl stocks especially one large crack in the right stock. Dark bore and warn rifling. Attention needed on cylinder for seems to be out of time. GFP
