Single Action Army revolver manufactured by Colt in 1924. Left side of barrel is stamped "COLT SIGNLE ACTION ARMY .45" with Colt's single line address across the top. Left side of frame bears patent information. Rear of cylinder bears the Rampant Colt logo. Barrel and cylinder are later replacements. Features include a blued 4 - 3/4" barrel, blued cylinder, & grip straps, case colored frame, as well as 2 piece Colt checkered black plastic grips. Grips are a later replacement. Matching numbers are present on the frame as well as the right side of the grip straps. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their reapplied finishes, exhibiting some spots of minor wear overall. Bright bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grips show some scattered handling marks and some nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
