A virtually new custom bolt action safari rifle grade chambered for the .416 Rigby cartridge with a steel 23" matte black fluted barrel. Barrel fitted with 2" muzzle break, mounts, and rings. Barrel reads ".416 RIGBY" on left. Left side of chamber reads "0118" for serial number. The double square bridge Granite Mountain Arms M98 Mauser style action is scroll engraved along with the barrel and floorplate. Action with 3-position Winchester style safety. Left side of action reads ""GRANITE MT ARMS PRESCOTT AZ". The steel straddle floor plate has a gold inlaid Cape Buffalo head, gold wire inlay also surrounds the scrolls on top of barrel and on floorplate. Deluxe quality walnut stock with shadow line cheekpiece, pistol grip with sharp diamond point checkering, eyes for sling loop, black steel grip cap, double recoil cross bolts, matched checkered forend with ebony forend tip. Buttstock with 3/4" black soft Decelerator pad. The single, smooth trigger is protected by a scroll engraved blacked trigger guard. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrel retains mostly all of its black and rifling is sharp. Action is clean and smooth. Stock and forearm with very light handling marks. Great safari rifle.
