One of 150 total gold plated Wyatt Earp Buntline Special single action revolver manufactured by Colt. The left side of the barrel is stamped "WYATT EARP BUNTLINE SPECIAL", with Colt's single line address across the top, and "COLT BUNTLIE SPECIAL .45" on the right side. Left side of frame bears patent information followed by the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components are entirely gold washed, with the exception of the mainspring, which is nitre blued. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt gold medallion smooth wood grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, cylinder, and grip straps. Assembly numbers are matching on the rear of the frame and loading gate. Bottom of barrel is stamped "BB3506". Complete with a wood hard case. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory applied gold wash finish, exhibiting few signs of handling overall. Cylinder bears an extremely light dragline in a few places. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Exterior of case shows some scattered marks from handling and storage. A very attractive Colt Wyatt Earp Buntline Special single action revolver. MLW
