Medium Frame Frank Wesson Model 1870 Pocket Rifle manufactured from 1870 to 1893 with approximately 5,000 units produced. Features include a .22 RF caliber 18" blued octagon barrel marked "FRANK WESSON WORHESTER MASS./PATENTED MAY 31, 1870", globe front sight, peep rear, rollover breech action, sliding ejector, nickel finished iron frame, 2-piece rosewood grips, and numbers matching nickel plated skeleton stock. Housed in an aftermarket wooden case. CONDITION: Excellent. Vast majority of factory applied blue finish is retained on barrel with some thinning and spots pf loss throughout. Frame and stock also retain vast majority of their clouded nickel finish with small spots worn to brown patina. Fine bright bore with strong rifling. Good mechanics. Case good with some handling marks and staining to liner. BAS
