Lot consists of: (A) 1859 vintage Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, serial number 157919. 6" octagon barrel in .31 caliber with cone front sight and hammer notch rear. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to an even dove-gray patina with handling marks throughout. Grips are good with heavy handling marks throughout and chip at right toe. Good mechanics. Bore is dark with heavy abrasion near muzzle and visible rifling. (B) 1863 vintage Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, serial number 224125. 6" octagon barrel in .31 caliber with cone front sight and hammer notch rear. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, as polished with light freckling and handling marks throughout. Cylinder scene has been polished away. Grips are strong with no major signs of distress. Good mechanics. Bore is dark with heavy abrasion and well-defined rifling. TON
