Ruger Blackhawk Single action revolver manufactured in 1968 and chambered in .44 magnum. The blued round barrel has ramped front sight, barrel ports on either side of the front sight, and manufacturer stamps on left side. Top of frame has adjustable square "U" notch. Left side of frame under the cylinder is stamped "RUGER SUPER BLACKHAWK .44 MAGNUM CAL." The serial number is stamped in the same position on the right side of frame. Unfluted cylinder, Jeweled hammer and trigger, and imitation pearl grips with brass colored "DEPUTY SHERIFF" stars imbedded on either side. The grip frame, cylinder frame, ejector, ejector housing, base pin, and base pin catch are nickel finished. Included is wooden display case with blue fabric lining the inside and a Ruger patch and pin. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with almost all original finishes remaining. Minimal flaking on grip frame especially towards heel. Light signs of oxidation around imbedded Deputy Sheriff stars on grip and grip screws. Light scratches and handling marks throughout. Good bore and good mechanics. GFP
