Lot consists of (A) 2nd Issue Smith and Wesson No. 1 revolver with serial number 119852 and chambered in .22 rimfire short black powder. Octagonal ribbed steel barrel, non fluted seven shot cylinder, and brass frame with flat side plate. Stamped "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS." on top of barrel rib. Patent stamped on cylinder. Wooden stocks. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with slight signs of oxidation on steel surfaces. Wood stocks have small chips and scratches. Bottom side of grip shows dings and wear marks on both frame and stocks. Semi-bright bore and good mechanics. (B) 3rd issue Smith and Wesson No. 1 revolver with serial number 6133 and chambered in .22 rimfire short. Blued frame with birds head grip, fluted 7 shot cylinder, and ribbed round barrel. Stamping of patent on top of barrel rib. Smooth rosewood stocks. CONDITION: Very good overall condition with most of the original bluing remaining. Wear marks throughout especially on barrel and light signs of oxidation cylinder. Signs of oxidation on cylinder. Light scratches and handling marks on stocks. Good bore with light signs of oxidation and good mechanics. GFP
