Remington one-of-a-kind Model 870 MARK I tactical slide action shotgun made for use by the United States Marine Corp from 1968 to 1973 by Remington Arms Company, Ilion, New York. 21" smoothbore parkerized finish round barrel with rifle sights and MOD choke with Mark I bayonet attachment. Parkerized frame with push-button safety with correct range serial number 1242256V. Fitted with parkerized full-length tube magazine and military-style green woven sling. Correct walnut unmarked plain pistol grip stock with Remington plastic buttplate and plain walnut beavertail forearm. Comes with Rare US M-7 bayonet by Milpar with green U.S. M8A1 sheath. PROVENANCE: Comes with letter from William Forson, Jr. (Retired Remington Arms) stating the origin of this gun and the details of said item. CONDITION: 90% plus original parkerized finish with light handling marks. 90% plus wood finish with light handling marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
