LOT CONSISTS OF: (A) Manufactured in 1887 This is a first year production gun. Octagonal barrel with beach front and factory rear sights. Tube magazine. Two line address on top flat of barrel. Rampant Colt logo on left side of the frame. Pump action with checkered panel fore stock. Plain rear stock with hard rubber butt plate with Rampant Colt logo. Action works smoothly. CONDITION: The finish on this gun has turned to an even brown patina With blue in the protected area's. The fore stock has good checkering and has a small crack. The rear stock has just a small chip on the right side at the wrist and a repair at the toe. Dark bore showing some frosting in the lands and grooves. (B) Manufactured in 1901. Octagonal barrel with factory front and replacement rear sights. Tube magazine. Pump action with after market fore stock. Plain rear stock with hard rubber butt plate with Rampant Colt logo. Action works smoothly. CONDITION: The finish on this gun has turned to an even brown gray patina. The rear stock has been lightly sanded and has had a coat of varnish applied. The stock has just a small chip on the right side at the wrist. Dark bore showing some frosting in the lands and grooves. REW
