Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 63 semi automatic rifle. Made 1950. Standard markings on the barrel. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Matching serials on the frame and trigger group. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and u-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Checkered metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. (B) Winchester Model 1885 single shot rifle. Made 1907. Two line company address/patent dates on the barrel. Winchester trade mark on the tang. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Octagon barrel with blade front sight and fixed buckhorn rear. Original blued finish on the metal components. Wood has been lightly varnished. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with most areas forming a brown patina. Wood has handling marks and scratches. There are two repairs on the left side of the wrist. Bore has a few minor pits, with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
