Titled "A Chance Shot". Nicely framed in shadowbox style. Top and bottom metal bands. Great image of hunting cowboy. Strong colors. Has the iconic fancy Winchester script done in bright, bold colors that attract you eye to point of advertising. Calendar pad dated December 1897; December page is present. Bottom of ad shows gentleman hunter stalking bobcat, titled "An Interrupted Dinner". Stamped in the bottom left-hand corner "Copyright 1896 Winchester Repeating Arms Company, New Haven, Conn"; bottom right-hand corner reads "Forbes Company Boston". CONDITION: Good overall. Some speckling throughout. Edge wear consistent with age. A great addition to any firearms or advertising collection.
