Frost". Bottom left-hand corner "Copyright 1897 Winchester Repeating Arms Company New Haven, Conn", bottom right-hand corner stamped "Forbes Company Boston". CONDITION: Edge wear mostly contained to the bottom 2 edges, consistent with age. 1" x 1" repair to bottom left-hand corner. Overall colors are good. Approximate 8" crease top left-hand corner. Nicely framed. A good, original addition to any firearms collection. Shows iconic Winchester script that shows so vibrantly in these early ads, and draws your eye to point of advertising.
