Very rare example of the 1920s marketing cabinet that was offered to Winchester Premier dealers. Marked "A8" on top of door, underside of base with Walrus Manufacturing plaque. 4-sided glass case with pyramid top, with quarter-sawn oak frame. Nominal measurements are 5/8" frame thickness, 74 - 1/4" tall, width of 17 - 3/4". Interior with 4 racks for resting long guns, 5 each, totaling 20, with "WINCHESTER" logos facing exterior. Examples of these very rare cabinets can be seen in "Winchester Rarities" by Tom Webster, page 201. These cabinets are extremely rare and very few are speculated to still exist. CONDITION: Very good and highly attractive. Glass all appears to be the original hand blown panes and free of cracks. Wood is very good and has an interesting textured finish, possibly as a result of the varnish bubbling, with some minor bumps and bruises from nearly 100 years of existence. A few minor cracks that are stable and do not detract. Graphics have some very minor chipping. This is a very rare example of a top quality piece.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
