Lot consist of: (A) Winchester Model 99 Thumb Trigger single shot rifle. Made 1904-1923. Standard two line company address and patent dates on the left side of the barrel. There is an "LP" carved into Blade front sight with v-notch rear. Original blued finish turning to a heavy brown patina. Wood has a light oil finish. Checkered hard rubber butt plate. Includes a leather rifle scabbard, marked "LON BRADBURY/MAKER/GRAND JUNCTION. COLO". CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish, with most areas forming a heavy brown patina. Wood has minor dents and scratches. Bore has a few minor pits, but is otherwise clean. Mechanically fine. Scabbard is fair with crazing and wear. Small hole on the spine. (B) Remington Model 12 slide action rifle. Standard takedown model made 1923. Two line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. A previous owner has etched their social security number on the right side of the magazine tube. Octagon barrel with blade front sight and v-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 75% of its original finish with light wear and some brown patina on the frame. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is missing both screws on the left side. Bore is clean overall with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
