Lot consists of: (A) Reproduction Colt 1860 Army single action percussion revolver. 8" round barrel in .44 caliber with German silver blade front sight and hammer notch rear. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes chemically turned to a gray patina with light handling and storage marks throughout. Grips are excellent with no major cracks. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is frosted with abrasion toward muzzle and visible rifling. (B) 1864 vintage Colt 1849 Pocket percussion revolver, serial number 267468. 5" octagon barrel in .31 caliber rifled with Colt New York barrel address, cone front sight, and hammer notch rear. Matching serial numbers observed on barrel, frame, trigger guard, cylinder, cylinder arbor, and wedge. 1 piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a cleaned gray patina with scattered handling and storage marks. Grips are very good as sanded with finish added and are shy to both front and backstrap. Good mechanics. Bore is dark with visible rifling. TON
