Auto-Ordnance 1928 Thompson USMC Commemorative semi automatic rifle with display case. Company markings on the left side of the receiver. This rifle was turned into a commemorative by the American Historical Foundation, with its markings on the left side of the receiver as we. Right side of the receiver has Marine Corps commemorative markings, with a gold etched American flag on the heel of the receiver. Marine Corps logo is embedded on the right side of the grip, with the founding date being marked on both sides of the stock. Round, steel barrel with blade front sight and standard rear ladder. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Gold plated muzzle break, trigger, rear sight ears, sling swivels and charging handle. Wood stock and hand guard have a gloss finish. Smooth metal butt plate. rifle sits in its original red velvet lined wood display case with glass top. Includes one sealed 20 round blued steel magazine, and one 10 round blued steel drum (ban state compliant). CONDITION: Metal retains 98% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Wood is excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Looks to be unfired from the factory. Mechanically fine. Case and magazines are excellent. JWA
