Lot of 13 Huntley & Palmer biscuit tins. First is "Viennese", c. 1899, 60,000 made, needs a clean. Second is "Rustic", c. 1910, made in the form of a box constructed of logs. Third is "Iron Chest", c. 1907, the metal was made to look as if it were pitted and dented and they are therefore not condition issues. Fourth is "Satchel", c. 1908, made to look like a purse of lizard skin, 100,000 made, a very pretty tin with minor scuffs. Fifth is a "Log", c. 1902, a purse with handle that appears as a log, with embossed lizards and butterflies on it, a very pretty tin. Sixth, a small square "Muses", c. 1939. Seventh, a "Wicker Basket", c. 1905, the gold metal has gone a bit off-color, but an interesting tin. Eighth, "Handbag", c. 1929, a tin in the form of a purse, a metal embossed tin made to look like snake or reptile skin, with a picture of a snake embossed and with original leather handle. Ninth, a "Hamper", c. 1904, all complete with wear to the side of the tin, the top of the tin is rusty and worn. Tenth, a "Glove Box", c. 1931, a rectangular biscuit tin decorated with marquetry and on four small feet. Eleventh, "Ivory", c. 1899, a casket tin with a handle in the middle, poor condition with wear and rust on the top. Twelfth, "Floral", c. 1900, in the same form as "Ivory" but with a different pattern, poor condition with scuffing and wear on the top. Thirteenth, "Field Glass Case", c. 1907, tin made in the form of a pigskin case to put your field glasses in, you supply your own leather belt to wear over your shoulder, has a collapsible handle on the top, poor condition with scuffs and dents.
