Lot of nine biscuit tins. First is a Crawford "Durer", c. 1910, the famous German illustrator based in Nuremburg, Albrecht Durer. A very nice, uncommon tin. There is spotting on the gold, but otherwise displays very nicely. Second is a Carr's "Vine Basket", c. 1905, similar to the Huntley & Palmer baskets, but much larger, with sides illustrated and embossed with vine leaves. The top has a lid that is double-opening, also embossed with vine leaves. There is discoloration underneath the lithograph, but it is a rare tin in good condition. Third is a Carr's "Kit Bag Basket", c. 1903, a beigey-yellow and green basket. Fourth is a Macfarlane Lang "Juvenile Satchel", c. 1906, a wicker basket with a bright red ribbon around it, tied in a bow front and back. Fifth is a Peek Freans "Oval Basket", c.1905, an oval-shaped woven basket with a handle, with catch missing on the front. Sixth is a miniature Carr's "Kit Bag", c. 1903, a green leather bag with original brown ribbon, in poor condition. Seventh is a green trunk Carr's "Kit Bag", c. 1902. Eighth is a CWS "Geisha Basket", c. 1910, in the form of a wicker basket with a lid and a handle. The flat image on the lid is of Geishas. Ninth is a Huntley & Palmer "Indian Handbag", meant to resemble a lump of carved ivory with an elephant on top as the handle. The advertising on the bottom has been painted over with beige paint.

Condition: (Poor - Good).

Item Dimensions: Largest: 10" x 6 - 5/8" x 3 - 1/4".
