Lot of four German tins. The first is a Stollwerck candy tin, c. 19190, in the form of a small purse with German writing on the back, a string handle and a picture on the front that illustrates the purpose of the tin. It is a chocolate tin that was designed to be a vasculum when emptied, the front showing children collecting flowers. The second is a decorative green tin vasculum, c.1910, which has a long German poem inside and with the original cloth string-type handle. The third is a Nuremburg Lebkuchen tin, c. 1910, with some silver spots on raised embossing and a dirty lid, but the colors remain saturated and strong. The fourth is a Nuremburg Lebkucken und Chocolade-Fabriken tin, made in Leipzig by Lasse, in the form of a bank with a grandfather-figure design.
