Lot of three biscuit tins. The first is an interesting Grey Dunn "Seesaw", c. 1905, a semi-circular tin that rocks from left to right when stood up, hence the name. The sides are nicely decorated with red holly berries, holly leaves and mistletoe in a Christmas theme. The front image is of an Edwardian boy in a sailor's outfit, riding his rocking horse in the nursery. There are a few rubs to the high points of the embossing and there is a silver scratch below the boy's feet on the horse. The back image shows two more rural children, a little boy and girl on a seesaw fixed upon a downed tree. The second is a Phillips Tea "Egyptian", c. 1895, with Egyptian themes all over it. Reads on bottom "Specially Designed and Made for W. Phillips & Co., Teamen, Wrexham by Barclay & Fry Ltd., London.", and "The scenes represent Egyptian Art, or the flat wall painting commonly found in Egyptian houses.". The third is a Peek Freans "Recreation", c. 1895, in poor condition, showing children in orchestra and children playing chess on the back.
Condition: (Poor - Good).
Item Dimensions: Largest: 6" x 8 - 1/2" x 3".
