Macfarlane Lang "Telephone" biscuit tin, c. 1911. Interestingly designed tin, printed and embossed. Above the speaking horn is an embossed bell, which would have been a silvery-gold, but has lost its color. Below is a dial with a scale of one to eight and a button that says "Push". Has the original string and the original listening piece, which bears the name of the company and reads "Everybody is asking for Macfarlane Lang Company Biscuits". There is some rubbing and a few scratches, could do with a good cleaning.
