Lot of four mustard tins, two Colman's and two Keen's. The first Colman's tin, c. 1900, is in very good condition, with a bit of rubbing to the blue corners. It has illustrations of firemen, policemen and the like on the sides and on the lid is an illustration of the Victorian hero Grace Darling. The second Colman's tin, c. 1890, shows a woman and a man relaxing while sailing on the lid, the sides having illustrations by Edwin Landseer, various pictures of children playing with animals, and a man with a bottle of beer treating a wounded hound. Third is a Keen's colonial-themed tin, in good condition with not too much in the way of scuffs and scratches. There are pictures on the sides of the West Indies with native West Indian dancing, Australia with an ox cart crossing a river, South Africa with a man on a horse hunting an elephant, India with mounted natives in military outfits. The lid has "The National Sport" and depicts horse racing. The second Keen's tin, c. 1890, has "A National Game" on the lid, depicting a game of rugby. In good condition with just some patches of bare metal around the lid. Front illustration has a picture of India, one side has Australia with a kangaroo, on back is South Africa with a man on horse racing an ostrich, the other side is Canada with a man on a sled and a horse-drawn sleigh in the background.
