Lot of six biscuit tins. The first is an English Mackintosh "Sentry" tin, c. 1925, a rare tin which flips up to reveal the Sergeant when top of side is pressed where it reads "To Find the Sergeant of the Guard Press Here". There are a couple of scratches and scuffs but is nice and shiny, in very good condition. Second is an oval Dixon "Gloops Toffee" tin, c. 1925, with an interesting image on the top, depicting a circus ring with white cat spectators, a boy and girl riding a white horse and a man attempting to ride a donkey in background. Third is an English Slade's "Dandy Toffee" tin, c. 1925, in excellent condition. Fourth is a rare Slade's "Toffy" tin, c. 1925, somewhat scratched on the bottom, in the form of a poorly-rotating carousel on a base, featuring children riding the carousel atop various animals. It functions as a game, as the children are labeled one to six, so when spun, the first one past the "Winning Post" would be the winner. It appears aged, but is nevertheless in very good condition. Fifth is a rare English Lovell's Toffee, "The King of Toffees", in pastel yellow, pink and violet colors. Complete and in good condition, but there has been a hole made in the bottom of the tin. Sixth is a rare Cadbury's small castle tin, with minor dents and no real paint loss, though the top is rather dull, having lost its original gold coloring.

Condition: (Good - Very Good).

Item Dimensions: Largest: 5" x 8 - 1/2" x 2".
