Model 41 semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Smith & Wesson in 1972. Left side of barrel is stamped "SMITH & WESSON", with the right side bearing stampings stipulating the caliber designation. Left side of slide bears Smith & Wesson's trademark logo, with the right side bearing manufacturer information. Right side of frame is stamped "MODEL 41". Features include a high polish blue finish, 5 - 5/8" barrel, blade front sight, target adjustable rear sight, as well as 2-piece checkered wood thumb rest grips. Pistol is accompanied by an additional 7" barrel, a boxed set of Jay Scott custom made grips, as well as four additional 10-round magazines. CONDITION: Metal components retain the vast majority of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting superficial handling marks all around, with spots of silvering present on the frame beneath the grips. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are very good overall. MLW
