Rock Island Arsenal Model 1903 Springfield originally built in 1909. Re-barreled for World War II in 3-42 by Springfield Armory with blade front sight and rear flip sight graduated to 2800 yards. Blued Rock Island Arsenal action with unmarked bolt, non-factory drilled on rear right bridge for Lyman receiver sight with parkerized milled trigger guard. Walnut finger 2-bolt stock with parkerized hardware and original smooth steel buttplate. CONDITION: Metal surfaces faded to a grey patina with added sight holes. Wood has added coat of finish.
